Achromatic Doublet Lenses
To order a lens with MgF2 coating,
simply specifiy the model number. For example, "PAC052"
is a 25.4-mm diameter lens with a 100-mm effective
focal length and MgF2 coating.
To order a lens with AR.14 coating, append "AR.14"
to the model number. For example, "PAC052AR.14"
is a 25.4-mm diameter lens with a 100-mm effective
focal length and AR.14 coating.
Our Fast Steering Mirror (FSM) provides
two-axis, high-bandwidth rotation with sub-microradian
resolution. Based on proven aerospace technology,
We offer standard and custom designs that are economically
viable for widespread commercial use for applications
such as laser beam stabilization, laser scanning,
laser pointing, tracking, and image stabilization.
Our OC.20 mirror coating is designed
for laser cavity output coupling in the wavelength
range of 720–890 nm. This coating and the
3-mm thickness of the substrate are carefully designed
and manufactured to deliver minimum pulse dispersion
and the wide bandwidth required for ultrashort pulse
laser systems. OC.20 offers reflection of 88% and
transmission of 12% with essentially zero absorption
from 720–890 nm. An AR.16 broadband antireflection
coating on the second surface of the output coupler
reduces unwanted secondary reflections. The OC.20
coating is available on 12.7 and 25.4 mm diameter
flat precision polished BK 7 substrates.
Gradient index micro lenses have
a radially varying index of refraction that causes
an optical ray to follow a sinusoidal propagation
path through the lens. They combine refraction at
the end surfaces along with continuous refraction
within the lens.
These thin film polarizers have
been designed to provide superior performance in
ultrafast Ti:Sapphire regenerative amplifiers. While
pulse lengths are relatively long in these amplifiers,
pulse dispersion is still a concern if pulse width
is to be maintained in the recompressed pulse. Multiple
round trips in the amplifier have a multiplying
effect on the dispersive characteristics of any
optic in the cavity. For this reason, substantial
effort has been made in designing and testing these
polarizers for minimum pulse dispersion.
These right-angle prisms are
precision polished to tight tolerances for more
demanding applications. They are available in either
BK 7 or UV grade fused silica. BK 7 prisms are recommended
for general laboratory use in the visible and near
IR. For UV, infrared, or thermally sensitive applications
fused silica prisms are advised. Our fused silica
prisms are manufactured to exacting specifications
and are useful from 185 nm–2.1 µm.
